Mozart ano Cricket

Mozart, then age3 9, ano his family, afier a very successful I 5 months in
Englano, stayeo at Bourne Park House, Bishopskourne from 24th July -
1 st Zugust 1 765 as guests of Horace Mann; one of the greatest patrons of
English Cricket, whose portrait hangs in the pavillion at fora} ano who
founoeo Bourne fork Cricket Cluh in I 766.

It is likely that Horace Mann, then ageo 21, tolo ano showea Mozart
something of cricket. It is enough of a possihility to give us an excuse to
celehrate 50th the music of Mozart, in this the Bicentenary of his Beath, an3
that cricket is still 5eing playea on this historic grouno, known as

Hall in June 1990.
