January SL969 Dear.Er. Williams, I am researching material for a biography of Count Louie zborowski, who, as you are probably aware, lived at Higham (now Highland Court) until his death at Eonza in 1924. In the course of my enquiries I learn that you have studied the history of Bridge Village. it could well be that you could furnish me with material either directly connected with the Zborowski's, or interesting local background of the period. Needless to say I have contacted a number of well known Zborowski people in Bridge, as well as those connected with the Fire Brigade, to whom the Count gave the first motorised fire engine. I would be most interested to know if you would be prepared to assist me, as your particular knowledge would be of immense help, and probably save much dreary verification checking on my material. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future, I trust favourably, and meantime remain Yours faithfully, ,_, I/‘J /J /§e,:’/ K//K7 ’ Wz';r‘ V ;Mfl,,_ lDaVid A.Faine.
