Williamson Esq Beeehmount Conyngham Lane Bridge Nr. Canterbury Kent Dear Mr. Williamson I have now been able to consult ‘The letters of Mozart and his family‘ (2nd edition) in response to your enquiry addressed to Mr. Simpson. Unfortunately, the letters written by Leopold Mozart from England in 1765 do not contain any references to Bourne Park or indeed to Kent. I wonder whether you have thought of consulting a local newspaper. Canterbury Library, the Beaney, hold the Kentish Post for this period on microfilm. They tell me that if you would like to look at it it is advisable to make an appointment. I am afraid I do not know of any other book on Mozart that is likely to help you. Yours sincerely Qweln BRIAN HOGBEN a Subject Librarian Humanities
