The route will use existing Public Rights of. Way, upgrading stiles where necessary and establishing Elham Valley Trail Discs on waymarker posts. The aim is to encourage people from Canterbury, Folkestone, other parts of Kent and visitors from the continent to discover the beauty of the Elham Valley on foot, whilst improving facilities for local people. PROJECT 464577 The KSCP will be implementing improvements on the éanterburyiii section from Barham to Canterbury, whilst the 0Whitec1iffs;. Countryside Project will carry out work on the Shepway section from Folkestone to Elham. I hope to start work on stile and waymarker post erection in April with the help of KSCP volunteers and local voluntary groups. The work should be finished by the end of the summer.
