With your wide knowledge and extensive records on Bridge you seem to be the obvious person to turn to in the first instance. 1 plan to ‘look in at the Local History section of the Canterbury Library over the summer to see if they can throw any light on some of the practices detailed in the survey and the instruments on which they were practised. When you read through it, parochial life seems very quiet these days. ' Recently I was privileged to View the interior of The Shippe in the High Street, the home of the late Wally Turner. it is to be let following sympathetic updating of some essential facilities including the kitchen and bathroom. Having been 3? already surprised at the spacious accommodation, I was then amazed to see the brick vaulted oast. What a labour of love by Wally and his family over so many years to reveal what must certainly rank as one of Bridge's unseen treasures. I trust you and Mrs Williamson are keeping well, and look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely @/ Bill Dawson
