In 2007 Bridge & District History Society issued a small booklet "A Brief Historical Tour of The
Village of Bridge and its environs" which included a drawing from the Courtauld collection,
illustrating the Village street as seen in 1661 byWi1lem Schellinks. A copy was donated to you at the
time. This edition has since been exhausted, and we propose to issue an updated and slightly enlarged
Version, to again include this picture (unchanged). We have, I regret to say, mislaid the original
licence, but I note from the terms and conditions which we still have, that application must be made to

I might mention that we do already have a copy of the high quality card illustrating the Rowlandson
picture, issued by (and purchased from) Canterbury Museums in 1999, from which the printer could
take a copy.
