Meet Bill Dawson at the Welcomers Desk,
just inside the cathedral’s West Door. The
guided tour will be led by Mrs Nan :3..,..,,_M,
Miller. T he Cathedral has asked #5; 
us not to embarrass the guide by  
oflering tips. Please note that choir 
and organ practice starts at 2.00 ‘ V '
pm for an hour, and is followed by Evensong

1.00 pm Charles Dickens Centre
Meet John Bishop at the entrance
to the Centre at Eastgate House, in
‘  the High Street. He will arrange
with the Centre for the party to enter.

 

1.00 pm approx. Rochester Castle
On arrival, please make your own
arrangements to enter — there will
not be an organiser from the Society. fj

 

3.30 pm
Cream Tea at Dodgers Restaurant

Meet at the restaurant in the
High Street, for a cup of tea,
scone, jam and cream.

 

Should you require any extras,
please settle separately with the restaurant for
them yourself.

5.00 pm

Meet at the rear of the Visitor Centre in the
High Street to board the coach for the journey
home to Bridge. NB After 5.00pm when the
Centre closes, access to the rear is by walking
round the block — see directions on the Centre
door.

Dover Castle has two exhibitions using light sound and
film to recreate the siege of 1216, and later in its history
the arrival of King Henry vm. There will also be an op-

portunity to visit the secret Wartime underground tunnels.
