The Parish Council joined the ’partnership' because:
it can exert greater influence on the development
it will ensure the benefits are gained by the village
it believes positive action is preferable to inertia
it could settle any major change for a long period
What Happens Next?
* Further opportunity for public viewing of
the proposals and a public meeting.
* ‘Partnership’ is to present its case for the
inclusion of the scheme in the District Plan
to the Public Inquiry - now scheduled for
early 1996.
* The Parish Council proposed a further
Parish Appraisal and is actively seeking
volunteers for the committee.
* In due course a formal planning application
will be lodged after the completion and
report of the Public Inquiry into the District
Plan.
