Location
The archives ollice is situated in the cathedral precincts.
Canterbury liast and West BR stations (London -
Victoria via Medway or Ashford) are within l5 minutes
walking distance. At the cathedral, walk past the west
door and turn right into the Great Cloister. Continue past
the Chapter l louse and turn right into the passage. The
archives olfice is through the door on the lelt. Please
report to the receptionist on the first floor.

There are plenty ofcar parks and eating places in and
around the city.

OFFICE

Location
The oiliee is situated behind the Civic Centre in Strood.
Turn left olfthe A2 just alter the Civic Centre into
Commercial Road and left into Knight Road. The access
road then leads into the large car park.
Strood BR (London - Charing Cross) is 5 minutes walk
away. Cross the A2 and go through the pedestrian access
to the rear olthe main building. .
Enter through the door beneath the clock tower.
Places to eat
There are plenty of places to eat within easy walking
distance in Rochester city centre.
