Gilbert (Bridge) Me\uIoers of the Bridge Fire Brigade formed a guard of honour at St. Peter's Church, Bridge, on Wednesday when the popular Captain of the Brigade, Mr. Sidney Gilbert, The Forge, Bridge, was married to Miss Louisa. Gilbert, The Limes, Bridge. The bridegroom has been the-village black- smith at Bridge for more than 40 years, having taken over the business on the retire- ment of his Iather. The bride is also well- known, having been the district nurse for Bridge, Patrixbourne, Bishopsbourne and Bekesbourne for 25 years. The bride was attired in a navy blue dress with hat to hatch, and was given away by Mr. A. J. Gilbert, her brother. The Rev. C. T. Mourilyn ofllciated, and Mr. Tom Gilbert was best man. A reception was held at the Limes.
