TWO 1st Bridge Guides have won
honours in a regional arts fesitval.

Earlier in the year, the London
and South East England Girl
Guides invited entries for a festival
of creative art, to include photo-
graphy, design, writing, music and
dance.

Emma Field, aged 14 years who

Tho best musical items from all
entries were chosen to form part of

the Festival Concert in the Guild-
hall in London on Saturday, June 6,
and Emma‘ performed ‘her Christ~
mas Carol in front of an invited
audience. ,
Lucinda’s story won first prize in
its section and was on display at
the Guildhall for the same event.
, Emma was the only Guide per-
forming from the Canterbury area.
