Nailbourne Horticultural Society

The show opens at 2.30pm, with

Millennium festival: Councillors
recorded thanks to members of the
Millennium festival committee ,
who had worked so hard to make
the celebration held on June 24
such a success. ..

Councillors reported that it was so
successful that many villagers
wished to make it a regular event,
possibly taking place every two
years. The second stage of this
year’s event is to take place in

’ September.

Playground surfacing: The
contractor is to repair the safety
surfacing under the newswings,
which were installed last February.
Further repair work is also to take

‘place to the edging of the original

surface. The parish council regrets

' any disruption to the use of swings

may be experienced during the
schoolholidays.

had been received and commented

objection raised. .
Demolition of farm dwellings at
Renville Farm, no objection raised.

the orchard, High Street North.
