A visit had taken place withethe British Trust for Conservation Volunteers with advice on managing the orchard. They were happy with the rnethologies being used. There was a _ £25 per year subscription to the BTCV that Cllr Theakston thought worthwhile. Highways: Cllr Giles reported that the coloured surface requested by the -parish for the List/Jubilee Road junction had been_turned down by the Highways Dept as inappropriate.
