CCTV is in operation and it is hoped that the vandals will be identified when the film is processed. 1 PARISH COUNCIL: Floral Competition: The winners were the White Horse, large frontage businesses, and Colebrook and Sturrock, small frontage ' businesses. Presentations of the trophies had taken place. Cllr Walder reported that the displays throughout the village have been outstanding and the quality stunning. ‘ Playground surface: The clerk reported that Wicksteed were asked to carry out a repair to the surface at the log swing under guarantee, but they have inspected the site and report that as the area concerned has been removed they can only put this down to vandalism. It was agreed that the repair would be carried out along with another area recommended following the inspection and the clerk was requested to arrange this. Bulb planting: It was agreed to ask David Waters to carry out the bulb planting behind the seat at the junction of Bridge Hill and Beech Hill following the donation to fund bulbs by Mrs J.
