Tsunami supper: Held on Monday 1 January 17 at the White Horse Inn, this broke the record of covers - ' served-there in recent memory with 116 diners. A total of £897 was raised on the night and when m added to the amount raised on New Years Eve gives a grand total of 1 £1,240. - a 1 s Thanks go to all concerned, ' particularly to Alan and_ Sue c ‘_ Walton the organisers and to their suppliers who gave food and drink a 1 and the customers who donated. " The menu of fish and chips or hangers and mash was well received. Parish Plan: At the January meeting of .the committee the format of the plan document was agreed. It is still on target for production and distribution in 1"? 4.7.99.6 ':April. The committee was told of _ the progress of putting the questionnaires on to the computer ‘evaluation programme, and, as a result have been able to agree to the likely format of the final document. Chairman Bill Oakey told the committee of the work that he and John Hill were involved in getting to see the sponsors and agreeing copy with them to include the Parish Plan. - The next meeting is scheduled for February 15.
